Douglas C. Neff
Partner / President
Doug Neff is a Managing Partner and President of IHP Capital Partners. In addition to serving as Chairman of IHP's Investment Committee, he has primary responsibility for the company's operations. From 1985 until the founding of IHP in 1992, Mr. Neff was a Partner of The O'Donnell Group, a major regional developer, owner and manager of commercial and industrial real estate. Previously, he was Treasurer of The Irvine Company, developer of the nation's largest master-planned community, and a Vice President in the Real Estate Industries Group at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco. A graduate of Amherst College, he received an MBA from the University of Chicago. Mr. Neff is also a member of the Policy Advisory Board of the Fisher Center for Real Estate at the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Neff is listed among The 50 Most Influential People in Home Building in the 2007 rankings by "Builder" magazine.
Donald S. Grant
Partner / Executive Vice President
Don Grant is a Co-Founding Partner and Executive Vice President of IHP Capital Partners with responsibility for the selection and structuring of builder transactions, asset management, fund liability management and investor relations. He also serves as a member of IHP's Investment Committee.
Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of The O'Donnell Group, an office and industrial development firm doing business on the west coast. Prior to joining The O'Donnell Group in 1982, Mr. Grant spent 12 years in the real estate group of Wells Fargo Bank, where he was Senior Vice President responsible for all of the bank's construction lending to commercial developers and home builders based in Southern California. Mr. Grant is also a member of the Policy Advisory Board of the Fisher Center for Real Estate at the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Grant graduated from Kent State University and holds an MBA from the Santa Clara University.
Douglas D. Abbey
Board Member
Doug Abbey is a co-founder of AMB Property Corporation, one of the largest public industrial REITs, and a member of the Board of Directors of IHP Capital Partners. Mr. Abbey has over 30 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate. He is a graduate of Amherst College and has a master's degree in city planning from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a Trustee and past Vice Chairman of the Urban Land Institute, a past Trustee of the UC Berkeley Foundation and past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Golden Gate University. He serves on the Board of Bridge Housing Corporation, a non-profit builder of affordable housing in California. He is on the Advisory Board of the Terner Prize for Leadership and Innovation in Affordable Housing. He is a Lecturer in real estate at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
T. Robert Burke
Board Member
Robert Burke is the former Chairman and co-founder of AMB Property Corporation, NYSE-AMB. He is a member of the Board of Directors of IHP Capital Partners, a co-founder of Metropolitan Real Estate Equity Management, and was previously Managing Partner of Operations for Morrison & Foerster. Mr. Burke received his A.B. and J.D. from Stanford University in 1964 and 1967, respectively.
Mr. Burke is a former Trustee of Stanford University and served on the Board of Stanford Management Company and the Stanford law School Board of Visitors. He is a former Chairman of the Board of the Pension Real Estate Association, is a Board Member of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and is on the Board of the Presidio Trust. He is a member of the Investment Committee for the Hewlett Foundation.
